A holiday Village in East Sussex were building a new development of upmarket Scandinavian log holiday homes priced between £300,000 and £500,000. Press advertising had been tried together with attending exhibitions including The Ideal Home and Grand Designs. Although these produced a reasonable amount of interest the marketing cost was very high. The client wanted a strategy that would give a consistent flow of leads at a lower cost.
A strategy was produced with incentives for trade sign ups and prizes to be won on the opening day. Media chosen included a social media campaign aimed at building companies within a 15-mile radius of the branch. Adverts were placed in the local press to attract the residential market. The social media campaign was monitored daily to ensure maximum engagement.
The campaign produces around 30 leads per month which are either requests for brochures or private viewings. This strategy costs a fraction of the previous campaign and provides a steady stream of quality leads. Because we can identify everybody who has engaged with the campaign we can then remarket to these people with additional information about the development and consequently increase the amount of leads for minimal cost.
